Christopher SealJanuary 19, 1974 ~ October 31, 2018 (age 44)
Christopher “Criss” Joe Seal, he passed on Halloween night, Oct. 31, 2018. He was born January 19, 1974 in Colorado Springs.
Criss was a chef by trade, started his career at Hooters, but was very proud of his work with The Sunbird, Black Angus Steak House , Famous Dave’s, HuHot and many more restaurants. He was always the Chief Cook and BBQ’er when given the opportunity. He enjoyed providing food and snacks during the games of his favorite teams, the Broncos and the Nuggets.
He always had a joke, no matter the occasion and loved being on center stage. His laugh touched everyone, you couldn’t help to laugh when he did. He loved fishing and biking, including working on custom or low-rider bikes. Criss also had a very large Hot Wheels collection and liked Classical cars.
You would find Criss listening to nearly any genre of music, while working on projects, cooking and working on his bikes. Walking to show the love for the innocent lives lost on 9/11/2001, and the importance of community he marched the four corners of Galley and Academy, every year since the tragedy, with his flag showing that one man can make a difference.
Criss had a large and extremely loving family. They are all giving the strength and support to each other with such a tragic loss. His family includes his 10 children, Kyla Gonzales, Christopher Quintana, Dominique Seal, Elayna Gonzales, Marcelina Seal, Cristina Seal, Cristian Seal, Cristalin Seal, Cristavon Seal and Cristiana Seal; siblings, Jacquelynn "Jackie" Lightfoot, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Brouillette and Anthony “Tony” Seal; and their grandmother, Shirley Rudd. He was preceded in death by his parents Rebecca Marie (Kuefler) and Peter T. Seal.
Criss was a fun, loving person that never met a stranger and will be deeply missed.
