Felix Carmen Brogna III, age 58, passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 2nd. Felix succumbed to complications from lung cancer. He was born on July 4th, 1960 to Marjorie (Norden) and Felix Brogna Jr.

Felix completed four years of ROTC at Burlington High School in Burlington, MA. After completing High School, he joined the US Army where he served six years as a 64 Charlie MOS. He was honorably discharged in 1985.

After discharging from the Army, he continued his career as a truck driver. He lived in Weymouth, MA from 1985 to 2003. He moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 2003 where he lived the rest of his life.

Felix was well loved by everyone. He went out of his way to talk to everyone from the cashier at the grocery store to the people in the neighborhood community around him. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great niece.

He loved to go camping with Kathy and his friends Rick and Marla. He took two trips to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. He volunteered there for several days on each of the trips. He loved animals and did so much for them. Felix was extremely proud of his country and would display an American Flag and Eagles every chance he got. Driving over the road was more than just a job for him, it gave him the chance to go out and meet people and explore this great country. He was a lifetime supporter of and loved all Boston sport teams. He also had a great love for Nascar and loved Jeff Gordon.

He is survived by his father, Felix Brogna Jr.; his wife, Katherine Brooks; ex-wife, Jean Brogna; three children, Christopher, Dyan, and Elizabeth; step-son, Ryan; grandchildren, Owen, Jayda, Declan, Daniel, Serenity, and Lillian; and siblings, Michael, Peggy, Rosie, Susan, Patrick, Raymond, and William.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie (2013); his brother, Paul (1963); and his step-daughter Teah (2012).
