Val, Devon (Ash) and Kailey,

We love you all and are so very sorry for your loss. Mike was like a second father to Kyah. He had a great sense of humor, and he will be missed. My God comfort you all during this difficult time and bring your family closer.

Love Tanya

Dear Cox Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Mike for the past six years at Liberty. He always had a kind word for everyone and was happy to help with anything I needed. He was very proud of his family and I enjoyed hearing about all of you. He will be greatly missed by many -- Liberty will not be the same without him.

Just a note of my condolences.
Growing up we had so much fun, got in so much trouble. Just so hard to fathom. He was quite a kid, and a good man.

Cox Family,

I have worked with Michael the last 7 years at Liberty and I really enjoyed getting to know him. If you ever needed anything done at work Michael was the go to. I enjoyed hearing about his daughters and how proud he was of them. We talked nearly everyday and mostly just about life. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time. I will never forget Michaels kindness and willingness to help anytime it was needed.

I am saddened by news of Mike passing. I had the pleasure of working with him while I was at Liberty. I valued my time in getting to know everyday. He was one of the most humble and genuinely caring people I met while at Liberty. One of my favorite memories of him was how proud he was to talk about his family and brag about the drawings his daughter did. I am a better person to have known Mike. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Cox Family,

I worked with Mike at LHS for the past 7 years and he always made it a point to stop in and chat about life in general. We shared a lot of stories over the years. He was one of the most even-tempered people I 've ever known. He was always willing to do what needed to be done without hesitation. His spirit will live on and I will never forget his kindness and willingness to help others! My prayers are with you now during this challenging time and rest assured he did not suffer and is in a wonderful place now!

Cox family …
May Grace and Peace fill your days during these times. I knew Mike from his work at Liberty HS. He always had a smile on and always willing to help others when in need. We would share hunting stories and chat of his family. Keeping you all in our prayers!!

You will be in our hearts forever. We watched you grow from a little boy riding motorcycles, to a young man driving a (52) Chevy Pickup, to a husband and a father. You were an avid Archer, small in stature with a heart so big to love your wife, and love your 2 beautiful daughters not many men on this Earth can equal. Thank you Michael West Cox for all the memories. Love you always.

To The Cox Family,
I worked with Mike at Liberty. Sincere condolences on the passing of Mike. He was so good to everyone and always had a kind word. One mention of needing something and he'd drop what he was doing and take care of it. Always had time for a story or picture about family or hunting. We had a secret Lancer program at Liberty last year and during that time, whoever was my secret Lancer was sure good to me. I remember thinking, "Someone is really going out of their way to be nice to me." No surprise at all to find out later it was Mike. He was kind, generous and a really good friend. God bless you all during this difficult time.
Sincerely, Walt, Denise & Arik Aufderheide
