Welcome to the memorial page for

Sandra June Cascaden Robertson

March 6, 1944 ~ January 9, 2020 (age 75)

Sandra June Cascaden Robertson, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, a phenomenal woman, with a “sassi” attitude, along with a heart of gold! Born in Wheeling, West Virginia on March 6th, 1944. She graduated high school and went on to be an aesthetician along with a mother of four, grandmother of four, and great grandmother of one! She moved to Colorado in the early 80s from Ohio!  When moving to Colorado Springs she worked at MCI for many years and won many awards! She raised her children, and her grandchildren with patients, love, strength, honesty, truth, realness, and so much more. She is happiest by her animals “who do not talk back” and the people she loved.  Holidays are her favorite, she loved the family to come together, play music, and eat good food! She is one to always put her needs to the side and help others around her, she believed in “treat others how you want to be treated!” She was always true to herself, a hippie at heart, a very outspoken woman! She was the matriarch of the family, she was one we could always lean on, talk to, count on, anything!!!

“The Family Matriarch

She is the chalk that draws the line

The sturdy rope, the ties that bind

The go-to when times are rough

The sweetness in the breath of love

She sets the rhythm of the day

She is the all in all she’s made

And we, the gallery of her art

She is the hope in all of us

The shinning light, the path of love

She is the strength from out the start

The very beat deep in the heart

And after all, when all is said

Her Children rise and call her blessed

Accepting life through joy and scars”

Sandra is considered a super hero our modern day wonder women, the warmth she put into your heart after a conversation, the bear hugs she gave us all as little kids, the knowledge that she taught us all through the negative and the positive. She is a unique woman with so many positive qualities, abilities, knowledge, strength, and so much more! Sandra left us December 9th, 2019 at the age of 75, peacefully in her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Sandra an extraordinary woman who will forever and truly be missed by all that knew her.
