Wesley Clyde Fairbanks of Falcon, CO, formerly of Bradford, PA, passed away at Penrose Hospital-Pikes Peak Hospice on April 12, 2019. Wesley is survived by one sister, Rachel Fairbanks Grove of Colorado Springs, CO. He has been a loving uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle to generations of nieces and nephews.
Wesley served in the USAF for 20 years, in the medical-dental lab services. He became an instructor in his field. In the military he was stationed many places in the US and in Japan. He met his wife, Akiko Yamata Fairbanks in Nagoya, Japan. They led a full and eventful lives traveling the country and the world.
After his military service Wesley started his own dental laboratory, Metro Dental Labs. Living in Hampton, VA at that time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and seeing family all over the US. After living on the east coast for 20 years he moved to the west coast state of California. He lived in Apple Valley and served in many capacities there, including being the Commandant of the DFW and being very active in the Apple Valley Community Church. He then moved to Falcon, CO where he enjoyed country music, gardening and working his little farm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Paul and Nora Viola Fairbanks; a brother and a sister, and his wife, Akiko, preceded him in November 2017.

Inurnment will be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery beside his wife at a later date.
