Beau Daniel McRae, 40 died at his home on Monday, January 25, 2021. He was born to Chip and Gael McRae on February 27, 1980 in Colorado Springs.
From an early age Beau was lively, funny and outgoing. He loved movies and music, staging band performance and directing his friends and family in homemade action movies.
Much like his mother, Beau had a green thumb and an intense love of animals. Beau also found happiness in music and shared a deep and profound love of music with his father.
Beau was a gifted and unique person with a mischievous smile, quick wit and sense of humor. He was exceedingly smart, funny and deeply engaging. Throughout his life Beau struggled with depression, which ultimately took an enormous toll on him and lead to his death. His loss is deeply felt by all those who loved him.
He is survived by his father, Roland “Chip” McRae; his sister and brother-in-law, Kady & Joe Moehring; his nephews, Thomas and Tyler Moehring; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
