On Saturday, December 31, 2022, Brendan Michael Bono, loving husband and father passed away at the age of 38. Brendan was born on December 30, 1984 in St. Louis, MO. Brendan spent a majority of his childhood and life living in Denver, CO. At the time of his death he was a resident of Colorado Springs, CO. Brendan graduated high school at Cherry Creek High School in 2003, later he attended Metropolitan State College of Denver receiving a Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology in 2011. He has been employed at Keysight Technologies since 2014. On May 3, 2018 in Ireland he married the love of his life Makaela (Rumery) Bono, and they have two precious children Clara(3) and Connor Bono(17 months). Brendan adored his family and dog, Orsa. He enjoyed traveling with Makaela and anything else that meant they got to spend time together. He was a playful and loving father who would do anything for his family. He enjoyed playing monsters, being outside, and reading to his kids. Brendan was a wonderful uncle and loved having his nephew Jax come to Colorado every summer so they could go on hiking trips and play with Orsa. Brendan was a brilliant man with many talents and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a talented engineer with a passion to learn, and that persona went into everything he enjoyed. He would entrench himself in the details of his many hobbies that included cars, motorcycles, camping, hiking, snowshoeing, home construction projects and building things for his kids, smoking meats, making beer, and enjoying whiskey. We all knew him best for his kindness, his selflessness, patience, his laugh, and his warm smile when he greeted you whenever you saw him. Brendan was a humble man who has accomplished much in his life, and his greatest joy was spending time with his wonderful wife Makaela, and two beautiful children.
