Obituary

Charles Jones was born on November 2, 1976 in Colorado Springs to Juanita Jones and Charles Hendricks. He spent his life in Colorado Springs, other than a couple of short stints in a couple of other towns.

He leaves his memory to his sons, Isaiah Jones and Julius Taylor – He will love them Always ~ To the Moon and Back!

Charles also leaves memories with brothers, Richard Jones and Michael Battle; his sisters, Bernadette Jones and Derrice Aponte; also, several uncles, aunties, nieces and nephews.

Our dad enjoyed his life to the fullest and his laughter would brighten many rooms.  He was a loving and kind to anyone he met and he touched the lives of many hearts. He will be greatly missed.

Our fondest memories of Charles are of him playing his video games and watching his favorite football team, The Raiders.

He loved and cherished his family to no end. He was preceded in death by Jeffery Battle, his dad; nephew, Reishaun K. Jones; his grandparents, Geraldine and Roy Brown. Charles will be undeniably missed by his large family and numerous friends and acquaintances.

Broken Chain

We little knew that morning,

that God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly,

In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.

You did not go alone.

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories,

Your love is still our guide.

And though we cannot see you,

You are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken,

And nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one,

The chain will link again.
