Chris Garcia, a lifetime Colorado Springs resident, died September 30, 2020. He was born May 21, 1974 to Cora and Johnny Garcia. He fought a 6+ year battle with Pancreatic Cancer, but was always hopeful he would overcome, never giving up.
Chris was a longtime supervisor with the Colorado DOT Traffic Control. He was a wonderful husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a strong person and would speak his mind, usually with NO filter! He was an avid Broncos fan, enjoyed camping and a fighter in what he believed in. More than anything Chris loved his family and was especially endeared to his mother.
He is survived by his wife, Sharmaine Miranda, stood by his side from day one all the way till the end; his parents, Johnny & Cora; his children, Christopher Garcia, Sharleena Garcia, Serena Hurtado, Xavier Angel, Precious Angel and Alexis Enriques; grandchildren, Angel, Amaya, Jerry, Emmarosa and Javier; a brother, Matthew Garcia; sisters, Lorrie Anderson and Veronica Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
