Elizabeth Scalzo

Elizabeth Scalzo, affectionately known as Betty Boop, peacefully passed away to join Our Lord on May 8, 2023, at the age of 90. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Vincent, her sons Vince (Joanne), Nick (Mark), and Paul (Melissa), including grandchildren James, Veronica, Kyle, Keith, and great-grandchildren Danielle, Ethan, Gavin, Carter, Cooper, and Lincoln.

Betty was born in Hubbard, Ohio, and spent her formative years in Chicago, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Vincent. The couple later settled in Bensenville, Illinois, where they raised their family. In 1978, they relocated to Colorado Springs to enjoy their retirement years.

Betty will be remembered fondly by her family, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Her kind and gentle spirit will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.
