Eunice Linton Moore
Esther Eunice Linton was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 4th 1937. The only child of Charles K. and Leona M. Linton. They attended the Church of the Nazarene, where Eunice played the piano and organ. Eunice briefly attended college where she studied music.
In 1962 she married Robert Andrew Moore, a young soldier stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado.
After the wedding they moved to Fort Benning, Georgia. Their first son Paul Kenneth was born there.
After Fort Benning the small Moore family moved back to Robert’s home state of California. They had 3 more children, Andrew John, Michael Floyd and Julie Elizabeth.
Eunice returned to working full time after her children were all in school. She settled on the career of Medical Transcription, which she did until she retired.
After her father passed away, Eunice and Robert returned to Colorado Springs to care for her mother. She remained in the Springs till her death on September 14, 2022.
Eunice had many hobbies. Among them , spending time with friends and neighbors, crafts, reading, gardening and she was a very good cook. She was a great lover of cats! She and Robert loved to go camping and fishing. The family spent many wonderful days doing outdoor activities.
Eunice is predeceased by her father Charles Linton her mother Leona Linton and her beloved husband Robert.
She is survived by her 4 children, Paul his wife Lauren, Andrew his wife Maria, Michael his wife Erika, Julie and her husband Dennis.
Grandchildren, Kylie, Christopher, Ritchie, Alyssa, Robert, Maddison, Katherine and Jakob. Great-grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail, Thomas, Charlotte and Hadley. Nephews, Greg and Eric. Nieces, Christine and Corinne. Many wonderful friends and neighbors. And her two precious cats, Mollie and Gadget.
