Giovanni “John” Anthony Peluso died May 21, 2022 with his devoted wife and children by his side.
He was born December 5, 1940 in Augusta, Sicily to Carmela (Pustizzi) and Salvatore Peluso.
He graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in Boston, Massachusetts in 1961 and went on to join the United States Air Force in 1962. He was stationed at Peterson Air Force Base, where he met his wife, Gloria, of 55+ years. He had to leave the service at a later date due to his mother's illness.
Giovanni and Gloria married November 20, 1965 and had four children, raising them all in Colorado Springs. Being the strong and caring family-man he was, he went to work at King Soopers, retiring in 1995. He then became a realtor and joined ERA United Realty, then Keller Williams. He enjoyed watching football, hockey and basketball. He treasured his family and children and loved their Sunday dinners, dancing and taking long walks. He was a man of integrity, was a strongly devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved and cherished his family. He loved being in the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He will be sorely missed.
Giovanni is survived by his wife, Gloria Aneda (Esquibel); his children, David Eric Salvatore Peluso, Aaron Dominick Peluso, Carolyn Michelle (Jeff) Julius and Erika Lynn Quintana; his grandchildren, Aaron Anthony Peluso, Jordan Ray John Julius, Christian Andrew (Marissa) Huitt, Justin Jeffrey Elway Julius, Noah Jacob Quintana, Joseph Salvatore Quintana, and a great grandson, Kingston Andrew Huitt, and a sister, Mattea "Martha" Morello.
