Gregory AlexanderJanuary 9, 1947 ~ May 20, 2020 (age 73)
Gregory Alexander ascended to be with our maker on May 20th, 2020
As a Colorado native, he loved nature and made it a point to travel often while creating unforgettable experiences and life long relationships with everyone he was surrounded by.
He was the joy and light in so many people's world, striving to make people laugh everyday. As a former super star, Gregory loved music with his entire being and always said that it was his first love. He chose the music for most events, even if that meant he had to hover over the jukebox. His friends meant the absolute world to him, and his stories were always very vivid when he spoke of the people closest to him.
Many of Gregory's friends were accumulated through music and business. He was a strong performer and his voice was one of his many talents he held, aside from being the best friend, father & partner anyone could have ever asked for. He LOVED animals, Jamaica and Seattle.
As a father, he was extremely supportive and always had wise words and stories to tell. He used to give his daughter, Alyssa, a single rose every day during her childhood and shared many laughs with her. He was her protector. He gave her her voice.
He loved his partner, Laurie, very much and would make it a point to be there for her.
Everyone who knew or knew of Gregory knew how deeply he loved and how joyful he chose to stay. He was always joking and his humor made it easy for people to love him. He will be tremendously missed by thousands.
He is survived by the loves of his life, Laurie Nelson and daughter Alyssa Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adele and Gilbert Alexander.
