Joseph Derrick Anderson, 50, a Colorado Springs resident, died March 25, 2022 at his home. He was born April 25, 1971 in Houston, TX to Sandra Kay (Southard) and John Charles Anderson.

Joe lived his life for his family. It was all about the kids. He had a strong work ethic and outside of his family he enjoyed being a team player at work; he was a long-time employee of Ford Credit in Colorado Springs. He enjoyed watching football and cooking.

Joe is survived by his son, Austin and his daughter, Jade, as well as their mother, Jenean and step-son, Zack Jenness, whom he raised since he was 2 yrs old.

There will be a Celebration of Life service on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Cappadona Funeral Home.
