I just found out about this yesterday. I'm so very sorry.
I was fortunate enough to consider Kris a friend back in her days at SUNY Upstate. Every single positive quality one might have,, I'd say, could be applied to her. She was consistently positive, uplifting, helpful, fun, and yes, I'd say she always put others first. I think it's safe to say that *everyone* loved her.
We'll always remember the strength of her gentle spirit and those bright eyes of hers.
Maybe you beat me to the top of the hill, Kris; but I'll see you there - race 'ya down? :)
You're safe in my heart and in my memories. And PQRST @ 120 per minute for ever. ;)

Kris was a kind and fun loving medical school classmate of mine and I am deeply sorry to hear of her passing.
I lost my own mother to metastatic breast cancer when she was in her 50's and have been through as a young woman what you all are going through now. I have cherished my childhood memories and I know that the good memories will help get you through these times. Please reach out if you ever need anything.
