Quincella Rose Francis

September 10, 1936 ~ May 20, 2020 (age 83)

Quincella Rose Francis was born in New Orleans, LA to Harold and Elizabeth (nee Mogilles) Aguillard, on Sept. 10, 1936. She was the 2nd of 10 children. Quincella was with her family when she fell asleep in death.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Sr. whom she shared her life with for 66 years, her son, Larry Jr., and grandson Errol Francis, her great grandson Thomas Exum III, great granddaughter Amariana Garcia-Williams, and her parents, brothers Jessie and Harold Aguillard, Jr, and sister Lora Golden.

Quincella leaves her daughters, Germanettè Loftin (Lloyd), Dana Maddox (Charles Jr.) and Terri Williams, her remaining 11 grandchildren, Thomas Exum Jr, Larry Thompson (Courtnay), Akeyna Loftin, Dyani Hudson (Ryan), Germanetta Francis, Audrey Maddox, Dominick Williams, Alyssia Braddy (Daniel), Cherrell Williams, (Marcus) Charles Maddox III, Aneyce Maddox and 16 great grandchildren and sisters Beverly Roby, Pamela Keller, Lorraine Hunter and Eugenie Lewis, brothers Wayne and Nathan Aquillard; and  Sisters-in-law Aline LaCour, Cynthia Barret (Richard) and Iris Wilson to cherish her memory along with Katherine Holland, Michael Reis and his family and many, many relatives and dear friends.

There were many facets to Quincella. She was fair-minded, kind and gentle and at the same time very straight forward, strong willed and determined. She had such a deep capacity to love and those who knew her will remember her in that way. Quincella was a very genuine and generous woman, always willing to help and always willing to give and to forgive. 

Her faith was an inspiration to family and friends. Despite her many ailments that spanned most of her life, her faith never wavered. She would always share her love for God and the reason for her faith with all whom she came in contact. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1988 and dedicated herself to sharing the good news and the wonderful hope we have regarding God’s promise.

Quincella touched many people with her kindness, warmth, and generosity and will be missed greatly and remembered fondly.

Memorial Services will be held May 30, 2020 @ 3pm via Zoom
