Shirley Ann (Perme) Kliner

June 4, 1936 ~ May 16, 2022 (age 85)

Obituary

Shirley was born in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs, CO. Her memory will live on through her loving husband, Randall; her daughters, Heather and Cheryl; her son, Robert; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one   great-great grandchild; and through many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Shirley was so very proud of her family, her faith in her Lord, the house that she made into a beautiful home, and the ability to put a smile on someone’s face by giving them handmade pot-holders and/or beautiful holy apostle bracelets.

She loved to garden and was much more successful at it than Randall. Shirley was not she and would start a conversation with someone and walk away with a smile on her face knowing she had hopefully put a smile on their face.

Shirley thoroughly enjoyed traveling around Colorado and     our   country, especially Hawaii, Arizona, New Mexico and specifically San Diego, Sedona, Taos, and any place that had a southwest theme. All 50 states were covered at one time or another; and her favorite pastime was driving her Mustang convertible. She was ecstatic to be able to travel to Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, down the Danube River, Italy (and to “almost” shake the Pope’s hand), and to visit her father’s original home located in beautiful Slovenia. Over the years her circle of friends became her larger extended family. To include all her friends at Our Lady of the Pines, through her work at Peterson AFB, and through the best neighbors a person could have. May my Beautiful wife rest in everlasting peace.
